Warren G. Harding
Warren G. Harding, a republican from Ohio was the 29th president of the United States. He served in the Ohio Senate and then in the United States Senate, where he played a minor role. He was born in Ohio November 2, 1865 and died in San Francisco August 2, 1923. He ran on a campaign called "Return to Normalcy" this meant to return to the way life was before World War I.

Born on July 4, 1872 in Vermont. He grew up on a Vermont farm where his family had worked for five generations. When he was governor of massachusetts he rose to national prominence for his handling of the Boston police strike in 1919. Then he asked to run as Harding's vice president. He distanced himself from the Harding administration. He wanted the government to interfere with business and industry as little as possible. He died on January 5, 1933 in Northhampton, Massachusetts.
